Role Overview

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the team in Neom, Al Jawf. This full-time position involves providing contractual leadership across a major program, overseeing the design, planning, and execution of infrastructure projects. The role also includes offering technical expertise and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor project execution to ensure alignment with the approved baseline schedule.
• Track procurement activities for civil and structural materials, including identifying and managing long-lead items.
• Prepare and communicate project progress reports, detailing delays, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project activities to ensure seamless integration across all disciplines.
• Lead contractor meetings to review progress, resolve conflicts, address obstacles, and implement effective solutions.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks through continuous monitoring and mitigation planning.
• Oversee project closeout and handover phases, ensuring all deliverables are completed and documented.
• Review and validate structural and infrastructure designs, calculations, shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance through site inspections, defect identification, non-conformance management, and adherence to project specifications.
• Provide technical leadership and stakeholder management by mentoring engineering teams, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, resolving technical queries, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage civil engineering projects from detailed design through completion.
• Proficiency in ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Neom, Al Jawf, within a dynamic team focused on major infrastructure programs.
