Role Overview

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager to join its team in Neom, Al Jawf, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing contractual leadership and managing commercial and contractual activities across a major program within Neom. The Senior Contract Manager will work closely with the client’s commercial team, project leadership, and key stakeholders to offer expert contract advice, support negotiations, and ensure effective contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contract administration activities, ensuring contractual obligations, procedures, and timelines are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review requests for proposals, tender documents, and contract terms to identify commercial risks, obligations, and areas of non-compliance.
  • Lead or support negotiations for complex, sensitive, or high-value contractual matters.
  • Provide expert contractual advice to the client, project leadership, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor contractual performance, risks, variations, claims, and commercial issues, providing clear and timely reporting.
  • Support the preparation, assessment, and negotiation of claims, change requests, and contract variations.
  • Collaborate with project, commercial, procurement, and legal teams to resolve contractual matters and support successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance to contracts personnel, promoting consistency, compliance, and commercial best practice.
  • Maintain accurate contract records, correspondence, notices, and supporting documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by staying informed of relevant contractual developments and industry practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing commercial and contractual activities for significant projects.
  • Proven ability to identify and manage contractual risks and resolve complex commercial matters.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong understanding of contract administration activities and project lifecycle management.
  • Ability to provide expert contractual advice and support negotiations effectively.
  • Excellent reporting skills for monitoring contractual performance and commercial issues.
  • Capability to provide technical guidance and promote best practices within a contracts team.

Work Environment

This role is based in Neom, Al Jawf, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be part of a team providing contractual leadership across a major program.
