The Role of Senior Mechanical Engineer

AECOM is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its team in Neom. This full-time position involves performing specialized engineering assignments of moderate complexity. The successful candidate will work independently on design elements and provide technical guidance to junior team members. This role requires a professional with developmental experience who can manage projects with minimal supervision while adhering to established quality and timeline standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute detailed and routine engineering assignments, including calculations, testing, and analysis using established procedures.
• Gather, correlate, and validate engineering data using well-defined methodologies.
• Independently complete primary design elements and engineering deliverables.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in engineering results and data.
• Propose solutions to new technical challenges by adapting standard procedures and leveraging previous project experience.
• Manage assigned work within agreed-upon budgets and schedules with minimal supervision.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Demonstrated developmental experience in managing projects.
• Ability to work independently on design elements.
• Proficiency in providing technical guidance to junior team members.
