Role Overview: Production Officer

Almarai is seeking a Production Officer to join its team in Makkah, Rabigh, or King Abdullah Economic City. This full-time role involves leading a self-directed, multi-functional team to efficiently process and pack seafood products, including shrimp, salmon, and multi-species fish. The Production Officer will ensure operations adhere to company specifications, production targets, and food safety standards, while maintaining product quality, yield, and operational efficiency within established management performance parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate team members to achieve daily seafood production targets, ensuring adherence to product specifications and quality standards.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to employees, ensuring tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and food safety requirements.
• Oversee seafood processing activities, including cutting, trimming, glazing, grading, and packing, to meet yield and quality targets.
• Review production plans in collaboration with the Planning Department to ensure product availability according to schedules.
• Maximize service to internal customers by ensuring products are delivered at the correct time and meet specified requirements.
• Ensure all seafood products consistently meet company quality and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a multi-functional team.
• Understanding of production targets, food safety standards, and quality control.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in one of the following cities: Makkah, Rabigh, or King Abdullah Economic City. The role operates within a dynamic multinational team focused on supporting the group's growth plans, which include aggressive expansion programs and acquisitions in new vertical markets.
