About the Role

Almarai is seeking a Senior Production Planner to join its team in Makkah or Rabigh. This full-time role involves developing detailed production plans and optimizing the utilization of processing and packing machine assets. The Senior Production Planner will monitor the production cycle and communicate any necessary changes to relevant departments.

Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to prepare comprehensive production plans based on available forecasts and actual sales order requirements. The role focuses on ensuring efficient use of machinery and maintaining adherence to established operational standards throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed production plans based on sales forecasts and actual order requirements.
• Develop practical plans for daily and weekly planning meetings, aiming to meet all possible requirements.
• Monitor the production plan throughout its cycle and communicate any changes to respective departments.
• Ensure 100% optimization of processing and packing machines.
• Prevent non-conformance and concessions by ensuring all processing and packing plans adhere to standard operating procedures and norms.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in production planning or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed production plans.
• Experience in optimizing machine utilization.
• Familiarity with monitoring production cycles and communicating changes effectively.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in either Makkah or Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active participation in planning meetings and close collaboration with various departments to ensure smooth production operations.
