About the Role

Petro Rabigh is seeking a Head, Asset Management Section to lead the Asset Management Section. This full-time position is based in Rabigh and requires over 10 years of experience. The role is responsible for ensuring alignment with the corporate Asset Management Strategy and ISO 55000 principles.

Leadership and Governance

The Head, Asset Management Section will lead the Asset Management Section and oversee the Asset Management and Reliability Framework. This includes providing technical governance for critical equipment failures, Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), and major reliability events. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams to address significant concerns, disruptions, and improvement opportunities, as well as spearheading departmental initiatives and strategies to support long-term company objectives. Representation in ROC, RSC, and relevant communication meetings is also a key responsibility.

Asset Strategy and Reliability Management

This position is responsible for developing long-term asset strategies that encompass reliability, integrity, lifecycle cost, replacement planning, and performance improvement. Oversight of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), equipment strategy optimization, and reliability analytics are critical functions. The role requires identifying, analyzing, and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on potential failures of critical assets and associated systems, and reviewing technical deliverables to ensure solutions comply with engineering standards and safety requirements.

Performance and Continuous Improvement

The Head, Asset Management Section will lead asset performance reviews, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement programs. This includes responding to technical queries or assignments outside of primary accountabilities when necessary and driving enhancements in asset management skills, processes, and methodologies.

Compliance and Capability Development

Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and asset management best practices is essential. The role also involves managing budgets, manpower planning, competency development, and contractor performance. Enhancing asset management capabilities through effective training, knowledge sharing, and participation in relevant seminars and workshops is a key aspect of this position.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Strong collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) departments is required to support asset performance and reliability objectives. This role ensures that technical solutions and reliability programs adhere to engineering and safety standards.
