Quality Manager

About the Role

Pure Life Industries Middle East (PLIME) is seeking a Quality Manager to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Rabigh and Makkah. This full-time role involves leading the quality management strategy and operational QA/QC framework across plant operations, ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to establish and direct the quality management strategy and operational QA/QC framework within plant operations. The Quality Manager will ensure full compliance with internal quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements, including ISO 9001. A key focus will be on driving continuous improvement, reducing defects, and effectively managing non-conformances.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enforce the plant-wide Quality Management System (QMS), Quality Control Plans (QCP), and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) in alignment with ISO 9001 and industry standards.
• Oversee non-conformance detection, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and 8D reporting to resolve quality failures and prevent recurrence across the production line.
• Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and Gauge R&R to monitor capability metrics and minimize process variation.
• Lead internal and external quality audits, manage customer complaint resolution (PPM rate monitoring), and align plant standards with client and consultant requirements.
• Direct the daily activities of Quality Engineers, QC Inspectors, and Safety personnel, driving team capability development and ensuring full Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in quality management.
• Demonstrated experience in establishing and directing quality management strategies and operational QA/QC frameworks.
• Proficiency in ISO 9001 standards and their application.
• Experience with defect reduction, non-conformance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with responsibilities covering operations in both Rabigh and Makkah. The role involves leading a team of quality and safety professionals within a plant environment.
