About the Role

Almarai is seeking a Senior Team Manager Engineering (Process Mechanical) to join their team in Makkah, specifically in King Abdullah Economic City or Rabigh. This full-time role involves leading a self-directing, multi-functional team focused on the manufacture and packaging of seafood products. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to manage engineering operations within the seafood manufacturing and packaging process. This includes ensuring adherence to internal and regulatory standards, continuously improving production efficiencies, and maintaining a safe working environment. The manager will oversee maintenance activities and team development to support operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage equipment breakdowns and maintenance during assigned shifts to meet internal customer requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to defined safety and quality standards in all maintenance activities.
• Coordinate the execution of planned preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Identify training needs for maintenance technicians and ensure the necessary skills inventory is maintained within the team.
• Review identified equipment deficiencies and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Experience and Work Type

Candidates should possess 4-6 years of experience in a relevant engineering or team management role, preferably within a manufacturing or process-driven environment. This is a full-time position, requiring dedicated on-site presence to manage team operations and maintenance tasks effectively.

Location

This role is based in the Makkah region of Saudi Arabia, with primary work locations in either King Abdullah Economic City or Rabigh. The selected candidate will operate within Almarai's facilities in one of these cities.
