About the Role

Petro Rabigh is seeking a Specialist Engineer, ***************** to join their team in Rabigh. This full-time position involves overseeing technical support, compliance, and engineering procedures within the organization, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of refinery and petrochemical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

The Specialist Engineer will be responsible for a range of critical functions to ensure operational excellence and adherence to standards. This includes:

• Overseeing technical support management for maintenance, projects, and improvement activities within an assigned section.
• Reviewing and consolidating technical documentation, and evaluating regular audits of engineering support jobs to ensure compliance with international Engineering standards.
• Reviewing and consolidating engineering procedures, and supervising their implementation within plant equipment operation limits to prevent misoperations and human errors.
• Ensuring assigned engineering tasks meet corporate safety and environmental policies and standards.
• Implementing cost-saving activities as per the section's cost-saving plan.
• Improving manufacturing facilities for enhanced safety and competitiveness.

Technical Expertise and Guidance

A core aspect of this role involves providing expert technical guidance to the team. This includes:

• Reviewing and guiding the team on Root Cause Analysis, Reliability Studies, and SIL Assessment & Validation.
• Reviewing and guiding the team to optimize the Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• A first degree in engineering or a relevant science major.
• A minimum of 15 years of technical experience in engineering within the refinery or petrochemical industry.
• Demonstrated specialty, expertise, and a strong record in the related field of work.
• Proficiency in process & operations, maintenance & engineering practices in refinery or petrochemical plants.
• Technical expert level knowledge to review and guide teams on critical analyses and assessments.
