Job Description
About the Role
KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a Valve Shop Technician II to join their team in Rabigh. This full-time role involves maintaining rotating equipment in optimal condition, ensuring all installations, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical systems meet required standards. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate maintenance activities to technicians and assemble the necessary team.
- Supervise ongoing jobs and provide progress updates to the Foreman.
- Organize manpower resources, equipment, and material availability for tasks.
- Arrange necessary work permits prior to commencing work.
- Provide technical guidance to technicians on the proper use of tools and equipment.
- Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning, and Technical departments to ensure job execution and completion.
- Ensure accurate SAP data input, history tracking, and actual hours are maintained.
- Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
Safety and Compliance
- Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to safe work practices, hazardous work regulations, and proper PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
- Encourage the reporting of near misses, unsafe conditions, and acts.
- Participate in safety audits as required.
- Attend scheduled safety and technical training sessions.
Qualifications and Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance management within Oil & Gas Facilities.
- Well-organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills, particularly within large organizations.
- Demonstrated maturity of judgment under pressure and the ability to resolve problems effectively.
- Strategic management skills.
- Ability to achieve business results while working in a multicultural environment.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic team focused on maintaining critical equipment in the Oil & Gas sector.
