IT Infrastructure Manager

About the Role

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company is seeking an experienced and technically strong IT Infrastructure Manager to join its IT Department in Ras Tannurah, Eastern Region. This full-time role reports to the IT Director and is responsible for the planning, implementation, management, and security of the organization's IT infrastructure. The position focuses on ensuring high availability, reliability, and security of all IT services to support business operations and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewalls.
• Oversee server environments, virtualization platforms, and cloud services, including Microsoft 365.
• Ensure optimal performance, availability, and capacity planning of IT systems.
• Maintain storage solutions, backup systems, and disaster recovery sites.
• Manage data center and server room infrastructure, as well as IP telephony and communication systems.
• Implement and maintain IT security controls and policies, managing firewalls, endpoint protection, access controls, and vulnerability remediation.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, IT policies, and regulatory requirements, conducting risk assessments and security reviews.
• Ensure 24/7 availability of critical IT services, leading incident management and problem resolution activities.
• Monitor infrastructure health and system performance, managing system upgrades, patches, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans, conducting periodic backup verification and recovery testing.
• Minimize operational risks through proactive infrastructure management.
• Lead and mentor system administrators, network engineers, and IT support staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and supporting staff development.
• Promote best practices and continuous improvement within the IT team.
• Plan and lead infrastructure projects, supporting digital transformation initiatives and new technology deployments.
• Coordinate with business departments and external partners, including infrastructure requirements for ERP, MES, CCTV, access control, and telecommunications.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Demonstrated technical strength in managing networks, servers, cloud platforms, storage, cybersecurity, and communication systems.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Ras Tannurah, within the Eastern Region. The role involves working as part of the IT Department, reporting directly to the IT Director, and leading a team of IT professionals.
