Supervisor Structural Fitter

About the Role

International Maritime Industries is seeking a Supervisor Structural Fitter to join their team in Ras Al Khair, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, specifically in Ras Tannurah. This full-time role involves working closely with supervisors, superintendents, managers, and the project team to ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget, adhering to contract specifications and the International Maritime Industries Management System (IMIMS).

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all assigned works are executed safely and on time.
• Adhere to all technical drawings and documentation, including WPS, Weld Maps, and PQR.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on project requirements.
• Secure valid work permits (Hot/Cold/Isolation, etc.) before initiating any activity.
• Attend safety and daily toolbox meetings, understanding the risks involved with each job.
• Perform welding according to specific codes and follow engineering drawings.
• Monitor material usage to identify and address potential shortages promptly.
• Follow pre-welding preparations carefully, inspect finished welds, and confirm they meet quality standards.
• Inspect equipment and tools used during work and maintain them in a safe condition.

Collaboration and Project Execution

The Supervisor Structural Fitter will collaborate with other departments and communicate results and concerns to the project management team. This role requires the ability to work under pressure and lead a group to project completion against aggressive timelines and work scopes.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant structural fitting or supervisory role.
