About the Role

We are seeking an Architectural Design and Finishes Engineer to join a contracting company in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 0-1 years of practical experience in architectural design, design development, and the preparation of executive plans, with a focus on finishing works and coordinating designs with execution requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and developing plans, coordinating with clients and technical teams, and ensuring that works comply with project requirements and approved specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop architectural designs and executive plans for projects.
• Prepare and update architectural drawings using AutoCAD, and preferably Revit.
• Contribute to the development of interior and exterior finishing designs and select appropriate solutions for projects.
• Review plans and ensure their compliance with execution requirements and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with execution teams and various engineering disciplines to ensure work integration.
• Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into suitable architectural solutions and designs.
• Follow up on design and plan modifications according to project requirements.
• Contribute to reviewing work quality and ensuring its conformity with plans and specifications.
• Follow up on municipal licenses and approvals when necessary.
• Participate in field visits and coordinate with site teams when necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture.
• One year or more of practical experience in architectural design or finishing works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, and preferably Revit.
• Ability to prepare executive plans and develop architectural designs.
• Knowledge of interior and exterior finishing works and finishing materials.
• Ability to read plans and coordinate with execution teams and engineering disciplines.
• Knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and municipal requirements; experience with the Balady platform is preferred.
• Good communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Attaching a portfolio is preferred when applying.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.
