About the Role

Pinnacle Capital is seeking an Accountant to manage daily accounting operations within a CMA-regulated entity. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing periodic financial reports for internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare VAT returns and related reconciliations, ensuring compliance with ZATCA requirements.
• Investigate accounting and reconciliation differences, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.
• Record and reconcile intercompany and related-party transactions and balances.
• Maintain complete supporting documentation and audit trails for financial transactions.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Perform account and variance analysis, investigate unusual movements, and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (*, CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a regulated financial services or investment management company.
• Good understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Experience with CMA-regulated entities and regulatory reporting is preferred.
• Professional accounting qualification or progress toward a recognized qualification is an advantage.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong multitasking ability, capable of managing several concurrent accounting workstreams.
• High accuracy and attention to detail, particularly under tight deadlines and audit pressure.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with accounting/ERP systems (*, NetSuite) preferred.
• Ability to work independently while keeping the Senior Accountant informed of priorities and risks.
• Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to shifting priorities.
