Mace is seeking an Associate Director Risk to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a part-time position focused on one of Saudi Arabia's largest mixed-use development programmes, which includes sports facilities, entertainment, arts, and associated infrastructure. The role requires an experienced professional to lead integrated teams throughout various project phases.

Project Context

The project is a significant mixed-use development in Saudi Arabia, encompassing major sports, entertainment, and arts facilities, along with the necessary infrastructure. Mace serves as one of the delivery partners, requiring high-calibre professionals to guide integrated teams through each stage of the programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion safety-first values, confidently applying stop-work authority, and promoting wellbeing standards across the project.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviours aligned with organisational values, including mentoring and coaching junior staff members.
• Implement and continuously improve risk frameworks, registers, dashboards, and reporting processes to maintain robust risk management.
• Facilitate risk workshops, reviews, and assessments to effectively identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate risk controls into project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure high-quality risk data, compliance with best practices, and proactive monitoring of changing risk profiles.
• Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net-zero carbon transition, sharing responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess over 10 years of relevant professional experience in risk management within large-scale programmes, preferably in mixed-use development or infrastructure projects.
