About the Role

Critical Construction Company is seeking a Bakery and Pastries Chef to lead kitchen operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with a passion for French baking and pastry, ready to take full ownership of the kitchen, shape the menu, and ensure high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations, including organizing workflows and assigning responsibilities to the team.
• Prepare French baked goods and pastries, and actively develop new recipes and menu items.
• Plan production schedules and maintain consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all products.
• Manage, train, and provide ongoing support to the kitchen team.
• Oversee inventory management, purchasing requirements, and proper storage, while controlling costs and minimizing waste.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards and proper care of all kitchen equipment.
• Coordinate effectively with management and the service team to meet demand and support sales growth.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in French baking and pastry.
• Proven experience in managing kitchen operations.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to take full responsibility for kitchen functions.
• Demonstrated creativity and attention to detail, capable of maintaining high standards during busy periods.
• Must currently reside in Saudi Arabia and hold a valid, transferable Iqama.
• Availability for a full-time position in Riyadh.
• Experience required: 0-1 years.

Compensation

The position offers an attractive salary commensurate with experience and skills. Additionally, a percentage of sales will be provided under an agreed incentive structure.
