Business Analysis Officer

About the Role

Riyad Bank is seeking a Business Analysis Officer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves supporting the development of business requirements in alignment with business strategy and assisting the Product Owner in backlog management. The position requires understanding and supporting business needs within an assigned area to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
• Manage daily operations related to the role to ensure work continuity.
• Determine the scope and timeline for assigned tasks.
• Coordinate with stakeholders from business units, the broader organization, and customers to gather input for requirements.
• Support the elaboration of Business Cases.
• Identify and define detailed product requirements, use cases, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases, and assist in translating them into test conditions and expected results.
• Assist the Product Owner with User Stories and prepare mockups/wireframes.
• Map existing business processes and analyze and design new processes.
• Define metrics and performance goals for the product.
• Participate in transitioning requirements and use cases to solution analysts and designers, ensuring clear and complete understanding.
• Follow up on and ensure the success of UAT, resolving or escalating bottlenecks to solution analysts, business unit leads, or champions.
• Establish traceability of requirements to validate dependencies between deliverables and inputs.
• Ensure the delivery of assigned Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) from initiation to approval.
• Maintain proper communication with Solution Architects (SAs) to ensure accurate BRD delivery.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, considering international best practices, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
• Assist in preparing timely and accurate reports for Riyad Bank in compliance with company and department requirements, policies, and standards.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, IT Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in business analysis.
