About the Opportunity

Imploy is recruiting for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a leading and well-established Manufacturing & Trading Group. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves leading the finance function during a significant growth phase. The Group operates across Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and GCC countries and is currently in an advanced stage of Initial Public Offering (IPO) preparation.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the CFO will oversee the complete financial operations of the group. This includes ensuring robust financial governance, regulatory compliance, strategic financial planning, and effective treasury management. The role focuses on driving operational excellence within the finance function and leading the successful preparation for the company's IPO.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and finance operations across multiple entities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS financial reporting and consolidated financial statements.
• Manage executive financial reporting and provide business performance analysis to executive management.
• Supervise manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and monitor profitability across trading operations to improve margins and operational cost efficiency.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, financial modelling, and strategic planning support.
• Manage group cash flow, liquidity, optimize banking relationships, oversee CAPEX funding, and foreign currency exposure.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, ZATCA, VAT, Zakat, withholding tax, and local regulations; lead internal and external audits; and strengthen financial controls and corporate governance.
• Manage SAP ERP financial modules, improve finance automation and reporting processes, and integrate Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing systems.
• Lead and mentor finance teams across multiple locations, standardize financial policies and reporting practices, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead financial preparation for the company's Initial Public Offering (IPO), coordinate with investment banks, legal advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities, and support financial due diligence and investor readiness.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a strategic finance leader with over 10 years of experience in a relevant financial leadership role. This position requires a proven track record in managing complex financial operations within a multi-entity environment, ideally within the manufacturing and trading sectors. Experience with IPO preparation and strong knowledge of IFRS and GCC regulatory frameworks are essential.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in IFRS financial reporting and consolidated statements.
• Strong background in manufacturing costing, inventory management, and trading finance.
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, and strategic financial modelling.
• In-depth knowledge of treasury, cash management, and financing strategies.
• Expertise in financial compliance, corporate governance, and audit management.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP financial modules and driving digital transformation in finance.
• Significant experience in leading and developing finance teams.
• Direct experience with Initial Public Offering (IPO) readiness and coordination with stakeholders.
