Construction Manager Roads

About the Role

Parsons is seeking a Construction Manager specializing in Roads to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for an experienced professional who will oversee construction supervision activities and manage projects within the infrastructure sector. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in construction management, particularly in road projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee construction supervision activities conducted by the design consultant and manage assigned construction projects.
• Collaborate with the Project Controls Department to establish and maintain the master schedule and budget for projects.
• Participate in value engineering reviews during both the design and construction phases.
• Organize and work closely with a senior construction management team to provide oversight of site supervision and inspection services delivered by designers throughout the construction phase, including interface with commissioning and start-up activities.
• Serve as the senior expert based at the PMO site offices to address and resolve any problems that arise.
• Monitor construction project progress and chair all construction progress meetings. Utilize innovative software, including CCTV or other means, to assess and validate progress during meetings.
• Supervise the preparation of construction procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on roads projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage construction supervision activities and project schedules effectively.
• Experience with project controls, budgeting, and value engineering.
• Proficiency in monitoring construction progress and utilizing relevant software for project oversight.

Work Environment

This position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring the Construction Manager to be present at the PMO site offices. The role involves working within a dynamic team environment, collaborating with various departments and external consultants to ensure project success.
