Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and review material requests from project engineers and site supervisors, ensuring specifications are clear and accurate.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local suppliers to obtain the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Process purchase orders in accordance with company procurement policies and budget approvals.
  • Negotiate contract terms and manage supplier relationships to ensure service reliability and product quality.
  • Follow up on deliveries to project sites and ensure materials are received on time.
  • Coordinate with the technical and quality teams to inspect and verify received goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier details, delivery times, and invoices.
  • Monitor stock levels and forecast future material needs based on project schedules.
  • Keep updated with market trends and price fluctuations in construction and maintenance materials.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, spending, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all procurement operations.

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or contracting sector.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance and finishing materials (sanitary, electrical, ceramic, paint, etc.).
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement/ERP systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driving license is preferred (for supplier and site visits).
