The Role of Executive Director, Real Estate Development

The Executive Director, Real Estate Development, will lead the complete development lifecycle for major real estate projects. This full-time role involves overseeing projects from initial concept and feasibility studies through to final delivery and handover. The position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full development lifecycle of major real estate projects, from concept and feasibility to delivery and handover.
• Oversee planning, design coordination, commercial structuring, and execution across multiple assets.
• Manage relationships with government entities, investors, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure strong governance, effective risk management, and certainty of delivery for all projects.
• Contribute to shaping the long-term development pipeline and investment strategy for the group.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in real estate development within large, complex project environments.
• Strong exposure to Saudi Arabia's regulatory and development landscape is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated technical development expertise combined with commercial acumen and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience working with public-sector stakeholders or within giga-project environments is an advantage.
• Ability to demonstrate credibility, decision-making authority, and long-term strategic thinking.
