About the Role: Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment Coordinator
KBR, Inc. is seeking a Saudi National Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) Coordinator to join its expanding Project Management Office (PMO) Consultancy team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role supports a high-profile infrastructure development project and will be based in the Client’s offices in Riyadh.
Role Purpose and Project Context
The FF&E Coordinator is responsible for providing design management across various Project Management Consultants (PMCs), contractors, and design consultants. This involves establishing FF&E requirements, including material boards, samples, finishes, and palettes. The position oversees vendor management, procurement, logistics, and site management for installations, serving as a central point of contact between Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Operations, Vendors, and Client representatives throughout project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate FF&E, artwork, décor, and bespoke product packages from concept through final delivery.
- Assist the Client in developing custom product concepts and coordinating specifications with PMCs, contractors, and designers.
- Facilitate the development of mood boards, presentations, product selection sheets, and secure Client approvals for samples, prototypes, and finishes.
- Review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, drawings, and design requirements for compliance and consistency.
- Monitor PMC and contractor procurement trackers to ensure timely deliveries supporting key dates for asset occupancy.
- Support PMCs and contractors with site coordination, installation, and final handover of assets for occupancy and revenue generation.
- Coordinate with End-users for acceptance regimes, ensuring transfer of furnished assets for beneficial use in accordance with defined requirements.
- Develop and implement furnishing strategies, execution plans, procedures, and schedules.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary installation and acceptance activities to ensure seamless FF&E integration.
- Manage acceptance inspection activities with the Client, PMCs, and contractors, and verify FF&E completion dossiers.
- Ensure punch list identification and closure processes for FF&E are effectively managed, and facilitate final acceptance and project close-out.
- Coordinate turnover packages and handover documentation.
- Interface with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Operations, HSE, Vendors, and Client teams, participating in relevant meetings and reviews.
- Resolve technical issues impacting commissioning and acceptance schedules.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: An Interior Design degree or diploma is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience, with a range of 5-10 years preferred, in the design, procurement, logistics management, and installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, Trimble SketchUp, or similar design software, along with a strong command of Microsoft Office software.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Quality Assurance
The role requires adherence to all project HSE requirements and company procedures. This includes leading installation risk assessments, operations reviews, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) activities, as well as ensuring proper implementation of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems. The Coordinator will promote a strong safety culture during installation and acceptance phases and participate in incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
Quality assurance responsibilities involve verifying compliance with project specifications, installation procedures, and industry standards. This includes reviewing fabrication records, installation reports, and completion documentation, supporting quality audits and Client inspections, and ensuring accurate as-built and turnover records are maintained.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in the Client’s offices in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within KBR's Project Management Office Consultancy team, contributing to significant infrastructure development projects.
