The Role of Junior Associate Accounts Payable

The Finance team at Mnzil supports the company's expansion across Saudi Arabia. As a Junior Associate Accounts Payable, you will manage the complete payables cycle, from invoice verification to vendor payment and reconciliation. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is crucial for maintaining vendor trust, ensuring strong internal controls, and accurate financial records as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and payment requests, ensuring proper approval, coding, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare payment schedules and execute vendor payments in accordance with agreed terms and deadlines.
• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve open items promptly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records within the accounting/ERP system.
• Support month-end close activities, including AP accruals, aging reports, and payable reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding balances, staff advances, and employee reimbursements.
• Assist with VAT documentation, audit preparation, and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to streamline invoice approval and payment processes.

Required Experience

Candidates should have 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
