About Qiddiya and the Role

Qiddiya | القدية is seeking a Manager Security and Threat to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring robust security operations and threat management across Qiddiya Workers Villages, contributing to a safe and secure environment.

Purpose of the Position

The primary purpose of this role is to prevent, detect, and respond to security threats. This is achieved through the disciplined governance of security operations and comprehensive emergency preparedness within the designated areas, ensuring proactive and effective security measures are in place.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive security and threat management frameworks.
• Oversee daily access control, patrol operations, and CCTV surveillance systems.
• Lead thorough threat assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential risks.
• Coordinate intelligence gathering and disseminate threat alerts in collaboration with relevant authorities.
• Investigate security incidents, document findings, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure continuous compliance with all Saudi security regulations and industry best practices.
• Maintain strict adherence to training and licensing compliance requirements for security personnel.

Key Accountabilities and Performance

The Manager Security and Threat is accountable for delivering critical security outputs and maintaining high performance standards. Key accountabilities include the development and approval of robust security and threat frameworks, comprehensive threat risk registers and assessments, and detailed incident investigation reports. Performance will be measured against metrics such as the security incident rate and response time, threat assessment completion rate, access control compliance rate, training and licensing compliance rate, and the audit non-conformance rate.

Scope of Authority

The role carries specific authority to ensure effective security management and rapid response to emerging situations, including:

• Stopping unsafe or non-compliant security practices immediately.
• Escalating credible threats to leadership and relevant authorities without delay.
• Approving corrective security action plans to address identified issues and enhance security posture.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in security operations and threat management. A proven track record in developing and implementing security frameworks, overseeing security operations, and effectively managing security incidents is essential for success in this role.
