Officer Loss Prevention

About the Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Officer Loss Prevention to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves ensuring the safety and security of the property, guests, and employees through proactive measures and incident response.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor security systems including Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm systems, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems.
• Lock property entrances as required and conduct daily physical hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, administer first aid/CPR, or contact emergency medical services as needed.
• Assist guests and employees during emergency situations and notify appropriate individuals of incidents.
• Defuse guest and employee disturbances, calling for outside assistance if necessary.
• Complete incident reports for all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents and resolve safety hazard situations.
• Escort unwelcome persons from the property without disrupting operations.
• Respond to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts and complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report.
• Maintain confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports, releasing information only to authorized individuals.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.

Operational Compliance and Guest Service

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
• Complete required safety training and certifications, ensuring a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately.
• Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Capability to move at a speed required to respond to work situations (*, run, walk, jog).
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
• Capacity to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience is required for this position.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
• License or Certification: None specified.

This role may require additional licensing or registration in certain states. The Officer Loss Prevention will perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
