Pipeline Assurance Engineer (Saudi National)

About the Role

VaporVM is seeking a Pipeline Assurance Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves working closely with engineering teams to integrate and maintain security assurance throughout the software development lifecycle. The position focuses on CI/CD security tooling, automated quality gates, policies-as-code, developer enablement, and continuous cloud security posture monitoring. Candidates should have 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Embed within engineering squads to integrate security assurance into development workflows.
• Implement, configure, and optimize security tools within CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish and maintain automated security quality gates and policies-as-code.
• Integrate security checks into build, test, deployment, and release processes.
• Collaborate with developers to identify and remediate security issues early in the development lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and enablement to engineering teams on secure development practices.
• Support continuous cloud security posture monitoring and identify configuration risks.
• Help automate security testing, compliance checks, and policy enforcement.
• Monitor pipeline performance and continuously improve security assurance processes.
• Work with DevSecOps and cloud teams to strengthen security across development and deployment environments.

Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Required Experience and Skills

• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud security engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of security testing tools, automated security controls, and pipeline integration.
• Experience with policies-as-code and automated compliance enforcement.
• Knowledge of cloud security posture management and cloud configuration risks.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Understanding of secure software development practices and application security principles.
