Role Overview

GRG, a leading global advisory firm, is seeking a Risk & Compliance Director (Treasury) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to building and expanding the firm's Financial Services risk advisory practice within the region.

Practice Development and Leadership

The Director will be responsible for the strategic growth and operational leadership of the Financial Services risk advisory practice in Saudi Arabia. This involves driving business development initiatives, cultivating strong client relationships, and ensuring successful project delivery while contributing to practice profitability.

Core Technical Expertise

Candidates must possess strong expertise in banking Asset and Liability Management (ALM) and broader financial risk. Key areas of technical proficiency include:

• Liquidity risk and Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP)
• Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR)
• Liquidity stress testing
• Contingency funding plans
• Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB)
• Economic Value of Equity (EVE) and Net Interest Income (NII) modelling
• Structural hedging
• Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP)
• Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP)
• Recovery and resolution planning

Required Professional Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in:

• Business development within financial services advisory
• Client relationship management and engagement
• Successful project delivery and oversight
• Team leadership and mentorship
• Contributing to practice profitability and growth

Candidate Qualifications

Applicants should have a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience, ideally gained within a leading consulting firm. This experience should encompass a deep understanding of the financial services sector and risk advisory.
