SAP Data & Analytics Services Team Lead

About the Role

Alfanar is seeking an SAP Data & Analytics Services Team Lead to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading the delivery and execution of enterprise data and analytics solutions, overseeing BI, analytics, and data infrastructure teams to provide accurate, integrated insights and align data initiatives with business goals. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall data and analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
• Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide data initiatives, ensuring integration across BI, analytics, and data infrastructure functions.
• Promote a data-driven culture by advocating for the use of analytics in decision-making across business units.
• Oversee the design, development, and delivery of dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights.
• Guide the development of advanced analytics models and ensure their alignment with business needs.
• Ensure robust architecture and governance of data warehouses and data lakes to support scalable and secure data operations.
• Act as the primary liaison between the data & analytics function and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of data initiatives with business priorities.
• Translate complex data concepts into business-friendly language to support executive decision-making.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and tools to enhance data capabilities across the organization.
• Foster innovation by encouraging experimentation with new data methodologies, tools, and platforms.
• Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Monitor data quality across systems and lead initiatives to improve data accuracy and reliability.

• Transform corporate goals into business plans, then plan, follow up, and execute these plans (annual or development).
• Monitor plan performance, initiate actions to strengthen results, and take corrective actions.
• Provide periodic work progress reports.
• Monitor and control budgets and expenses to achieve optimum cost efficiency.
• Develop the organizational structure according to current requirements, considering future and development plans.
• Ensure availability and deployment of job descriptions for all roles.
• Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities.
• Be conversant with and able to navigate IT solutions relevant to the job and business, promoting their full use.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in data and analytics leadership roles.
• Proven experience in BI, analytics, and data infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and emerging technologies.
