About the Role

Business Umbrella is seeking a Science Teacher to join an educational institution in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves teaching fundamental scientific concepts to elementary-level students, fostering curiosity, and encouraging discovery through interactive learning. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging science lessons to young learners in the Elementary Section. The focus will be on sparking curiosity and fostering a love for discovery through hands-on learning and interactive activities, specifically tailored for young girls' elementary education.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the elementary curriculum.
• Introduce fundamental concepts of General Science, Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, and Physical Sciences using age-appropriate methods.
• Conduct safe, simple, and practical experiments and classroom demonstrations to encourage inquiry-based learning.
• Foster critical thinking, observation skills, and scientific curiosity among elementary students.
• Assess and monitor student progress through regular coursework, tests, projects, and activities.
• Maintain a well-structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school administrators regarding student growth and development.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Science) or Education with a specialization in Science.
• Prior experience teaching Science at the Elementary school level.
• Excellent understanding of elementary pedagogical techniques and interactive teaching strategies.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Cultural adaptability and willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within an esteemed educational institution. The position is full-time and involves working with young learners in an elementary school setting.
