About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Section Manager, Corporate Business Planning to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to supporting the execution of corporate strategic planning, performance management, and annual planning processes. The manager will coordinate alignment across business units, ensure accurate KPI reporting, and contribute to data-driven decision-making through standardized planning, reporting, and performance analysis frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead support activities for developing and updating corporate strategic objectives and plans, ensuring alignment across sectors and business units.
• Manage the coordination of KPI data collection, consolidation, and timely submission, leading the preparation of periodic performance reports.
• Oversee support for KPI owners in identifying performance gaps, managing root-cause analysis for underperforming KPIs, and tracking corrective action implementation.
• Coordinate the prioritization of strategic projects, oversee analysis of project dependencies, manage risk identification, and support mitigation planning and portfolio reviews.
• Oversee support for the implementation and maintenance of data platforms, lead efforts to standardize data systems, and coordinate the development of centralized databases and core data structures.
• Define and monitor data quality and performance indicators, promoting data governance and system integration across business units.
• Lead the coordination of annual planning processes and template standardization, ensuring adherence to timelines and alignment of annual plans with corporate strategy and priorities.
• Lead the analysis of annual plan performance deviations, oversee the consolidation of quarterly performance reviews, and manage the review of performance reports and consolidated budgets.
• Coordinate sector-level financial and operational analysis, and recommend efficiency and performance improvement initiatives.

Managerial Accountabilities

The Section Manager is expected to uphold a high standard of managerial and operational excellence, demonstrating accountability across several key areas:

• HR & Talent Management: Recruit, cultivate, and recognize high performers, while guiding or managing low performers. Ensure fair treatment of subordinates, with performance-based assessment criteria, and maintain a robust delegation of authority matrix.
• Operational Responsibility: Take full responsibility for operations and deliverables, proactively anticipate and prevent problems, and make timely, proper decisions.
• Performance & Delivery: Deliver required results on time, within quality and cost parameters, making a tangible difference and exceeding business expectations. This includes transforming corporate goals into business plans, monitoring performance, initiating corrective actions, and providing periodic progress reports.
• Financial Management: Monitor and control budgets and expenses to achieve optimum cost efficiency.
• Organizational & Process Improvement: Develop organizational structures based on current and future needs, ensure job descriptions are available, and develop/coordinate well-defined systems, policies, and procedures. Actively seek automation opportunities and leverage IT solutions to promote their full utilization.
• Quality & Adaptability: Uphold quality as a prime competitive advantage and demonstrate adaptability to new techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a relevant field.
• 6 to 10 years of progressive work experience in a related domain.
