Senior Account Executive

About the Role

AWS EMEA SARL (Saudi Arabia Branch) is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage and expand strategic public sector accounts within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and involves leading transformative deals that integrate cloud technologies and Agentic AI to support innovation in the public sector.

Role Responsibilities

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for the go-to-market strategy and execution for strategic accounts, driving revenue growth, and defining AWS's partnerships with industry leaders. This role reports to KSA Leadership and requires close collaboration with regional stakeholders to achieve growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted C-level relationships with strategic public sector accounts, focusing on customer obsession, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Solutions Architecture, Partner Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, to address complex business and technical challenges for customers.
• Identify transformational opportunities, mitigate execution risks, and replicate successful strategies through scalable plays and mechanisms.
• Utilize data and metrics to manage pipeline health, ensure forecasting accuracy, and improve sales productivity.
• Represent AWS at industry events and promote innovation across KSA public sector segments.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in account management or a related sales role, preferably within the public sector or technology industry.
• Demonstrated ability to build businesses and drive digital transformations at scale.
• Strong operational excellence and deep industry insight.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, KSA. Travel to key customer sites will be required as part of the responsibilities.
