About the Role

AWS EMEA SARL (Saudi Arabia Branch) is seeking a Senior Account Executive, AWS Public Sector Saudi Arabia, to lead strategic accounts within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, involves driving transformative deals and redefining how public sector segments innovate with cloud technology and Agentic AI. The position requires over 10 years of experience in a relevant field and involves travel to key customer sites.

Role Overview

The Senior Account Executive will manage and expand strategic public sector accounts in KSA. This role involves owning the go-to-market strategy and execution for these accounts, driving revenue growth, and establishing the vision for AWS partnerships within the industry. The successful candidate will report to KSA Leadership and collaborate with regional stakeholders to achieve growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted C-level relationships with strategic public sector accounts, focusing on customer obsession, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Solutions Architecture, Partner Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, to address complex business and technical challenges for customers.
• Identify transformational opportunities, mitigate execution risks, and replicate successful strategies through scalable mechanisms.
• Utilize data and metrics to manage pipeline health, ensure forecasting accuracy, and enhance sales productivity.
• Represent AWS at industry events and promote innovation across KSA public sector segments.

Required Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in account management, sales, or a related field, preferably within the public sector.
• Demonstrated ability to build businesses and drive digital transformations at scale.
• Experience with cloud technologies and AI solutions is beneficial.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires travel to key customer sites within the Kingdom.
