Role Overview

The Senior Architect Engineer Design will be responsible for leading architectural design processes from initial concept development through to construction supervision. This includes ensuring all designs comply with relevant local regulations and industry standards, coordinating effectively with various project stakeholders, and contributing to the professional growth of junior team members. The role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles and project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and review architectural designs, concepts, and detailed drawings, ensuring full compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), MOMRA guidelines, and local authority regulations.
• Prepare authority submissions and manage the follow-up process to secure timely approvals for projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to seamlessly integrate architectural solutions across all project disciplines.
• Lead technical discussions with municipalities and regulatory bodies to facilitate project progression and resolve issues.
• Conduct site visits for inspections, resolve architectural discrepancies, and review contractor submittals for adherence to specifications.
• Maintain comprehensive project records, correspondence, and progress reports, and prepare specifications and material selection guidelines.
• Implement sustainable design principles, stay updated on industry trends, and integrate advanced technologies and software tools into design processes.
• Mentor junior architects, supervise drafting teams, and assist in technical interviews for architectural department recruitment.

Required Experience and Expertise

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of experience in architectural design and project execution. Demonstrated expertise in creating detailed architectural drawings, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating complex projects is essential. Proficiency in relevant design software and an understanding of sustainable design practices are also required for this role.
