This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is for a Senior Manager Interface and Configuration Management, requiring over 10 years of experience. The position leads the systems engineering approach to interface, integration, and configuration management across Mace's project portfolio.

The Project Context

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to one of Saudi Arabia's largest programs. The project involves a major mixed-use development, encompassing sports facilities, entertainment, arts, and associated infrastructure. As a key delivery partner, Mace requires experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of this significant undertaking.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement interface and configuration management strategies, processes, and tools to support timely technical approvals and delivery across the portfolio.
• Support project processes, milestones, and analysis in line with schedules and industry standards, including ISO 15288, EN 50126/29, and EN 50716.
• Provide timely progress reporting to the Director of Systems Engineering.
• Coordinate with the Director of Safety, Certification, and Regulation to support approvals from relevant authorities.
• Advise leadership and project teams on interface management and fully traceable configuration control.
• Define systems architecture requirements across the supply chain, ensuring consistency and control.
• Plan and coordinate integration activities across projects and the wider portfolio.
• Lead interface identification and analysis, ensuring significant interfaces are defined, implemented, and validated.
• Lead configuration management, ensuring key configurations are controlled, recorded, and fit for each delivery stage.
• Support the development of early-career colleagues and coach project teams and suppliers to embed industry standards, best practice, and delivery readiness.
• Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• Recognised professional membership and Chartered Engineer status, or an equivalent.
• Significant experience in the development, implementation, and management of Interface Management plans, tools, techniques, and associated deliverables.
• Relevant work experience on high-value projects/programs for a project management consultancy business, meeting immigration and client approval criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Middle East experience is advantageous.
• Experience with Systems Architecture, Configuration Management (CM), and Interface Management (IM) tools and software is advantageous.

Essential Knowledge and Skills

• Detailed understanding of Configuration Management across staged delivery transport projects.
• In-depth knowledge of industry-specific design, construction, and operation of railway assets, safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices (*, EN50126).
• Strong understanding of smart-city frameworks and sustainable design principles.
