Role Summary

The Senior Mechanic will be responsible for executing comprehensive mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring the continuous and safe operation of equipment. This position plays a critical part in supporting production continuity through proactive maintenance, timely repairs, and strict adherence to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance work in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure operation within designated limits, reporting any observations that may affect equipment efficiency.
• Identify and assess the readiness of required maintenance tools and equipment, carrying out preventive maintenance to ensure their continuous availability.
• Organize, store, and maintain maintenance tools in their designated locations, ensuring proper disposal of maintenance waste.
• Execute mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to ensure their readiness and efficiency.
• Comply with all safety procedures before commencing work, including verifying necessary permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
