As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee service, creating memorable experiences for our guests with warm hospitality and expertly crafted beverages. Your preparation and service of high-quality coffee and drinks in a welcoming environment contribute significantly to the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming guests and addressing their preferences.
- Recommend menu items based on customer needs, and encourage upselling when appropriate.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly, escalating issues when necessary.
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages following established recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and speed of service.
- Monitor inventory levels, communicate replenishment needs, and maintain a clean workstation.
- Follow health and safety regulations for food handling and sanitation, regularly cleaning and sanitizing equipment and service areas.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Accurately handle cash and card transactions through the point-of-sale system.
- Engage in team meetings and training to stay updated on menu changes and service standards.
- Support colleagues and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:You should ideally have a diploma or degree in hospitality or vocational training in food & beverage, along with prior experience as a Barista in a high-volume restaurant. Proficiency in English and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
