Khazeen (خزين) is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and management of mechanical systems and assets within the organization.

The Role of Senior Mechanical Engineer

The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for producing specifications for, designing, developing, manufacturing, and installing new or modified mechanical components and systems. This role involves creating engineering design drawings and actively managing and controlling enterprise assets to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare engineering designs from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other relevant data.
• Measure the performance of mechanical components, devices, and engines.
• Participate in and prepare Statements of Work (SOW) in collaboration with the project department.
• Review tender inquiries and monitor site progress reports.
• Maintain and modify equipment to ensure it remains safe, reliable, and efficient.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) and modeling software effectively.
• Follow instruction manuals and technical drawings precisely.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards within the Engineering & Planning Section.
• Keep equipment operating in good condition by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing required preventive maintenance, and arranging for repairs.
• Monitor and track project progress, preparing comprehensive reports.
• Handle rezoning, site plans, special use permits, and related materials.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering. Proficiency in computer-aided design/modeling software is essential. The role requires a strong ability to interpret technical drawings, perform engineering calculations, and apply knowledge of mechanical components and systems.
