Stakeholder Interface Engineer

About the Role

Hill International (KSA) is seeking a Stakeholder Interface Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves managing critical interfaces with external parties and ensuring smooth project delivery through effective stakeholder engagement and communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Map and maintain a comprehensive stakeholder register, including contact persons, terms of reference, MoUs, and agreements.
• Serve as the primary contact for all external parties, engaging to understand their needs and issues, and managing their expectations.
• Establish and monitor interface protocols between stakeholders and third parties to optimize program setup and project delivery.
• Engage with key third-party stakeholders affected by project works to understand their needs and concerns, maintaining effective relationships and reporting to RCRC.
• Develop an Interface Management Plan, detailing methods and processes for identification, development, and agreement with Third Parties.
• Manage interfaces, ensuring all necessary approvals and permits for the project are sought and obtained. This includes tracking authority approvals, monitoring, escalation, expediting issues, issue resolution, and risk mitigation.
• Handle communication with the client and key stakeholders on all authority-related issues.
• Produce and maintain standardized documents and regular reports for senior management and other stakeholders, reflecting key issues, risks, resolutions, and performance.
• Issue a Monthly Stakeholder Report.
• Support the Procurement and Contracts department.
• Ensure a collaborative approach within the team to facilitate planning and delivery of interface works, ensuring issues are understood and addressed.
• Manage and coordinate timely dissemination of information to all relevant parties.
• Adhere to Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and external interfaces.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with diverse parties.
• Experience in developing and implementing interface management plans.
• Proficiency in tracking approvals, monitoring progress, and resolving issues.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a professional project management setting. The role requires proactive engagement and collaboration across various internal and external teams.
