Veterinary Assistant

About the Role

AREEB is seeking a qualified and experienced Veterinary Assistant to support veterinary operations for a temporary event in Riyadh. This role involves assisting veterinarians with daily animal care, basic clinical procedures, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment. The position requires 2-5 years of experience and is a temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and basic clinical procedures.
• Handle and restrain animals safely and appropriately.
• Support routine animal care, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring.
• Prepare and maintain veterinary equipment, treatment areas, and supplies.
• Monitor animals and promptly report any changes in their condition to the veterinarian.
• Maintain accurate records related to animal care and treatments.
• Follow health, safety, hygiene, and animal welfare procedures.
• Support the veterinary team with other event-related duties as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced event environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be based in or able to work in Riyadh.

Work Assignment Details

This is a temporary assignment scheduled to run from November 2026 to January 2027. The successful candidate must be available to work throughout the full duration of this period.
