Role Overview

The Visual Merchandising Specialist at IKEA Alsulaiman in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is responsible for inspiring visitors through compelling visual presentations of IKEA's home furnishing range. Key Responsibilities

• Utilize visual merchandising expertise to enhance the IKEA identity in range presentation solutions within the store, focusing on layout, presentation, and vitality.
• Contribute to the department action plan with initiatives that support business growth and long-term profitability, executing plans in collaboration with other functions.
• Apply knowledge of local market needs and preferences to plan and implement relevant, inspiring, affordable, and commercial range presentation solutions that reflect diverse styles and price levels.
• Maintain awareness of visitor experience, minimizing disruption on the shop floor, and ensuring safety and visual impact for visitors.
• Adhere to routines and responsibilities, collaborate with the Com&In team and other functions, act promptly on commercial opportunities, and understand the financial impact of actions.
• Ensure high quality, simplicity, efficiency, and cost-consciousness in planning and implementing range presentation solutions by applying national guidelines and utilizing global tools and best practices.
• Actively gather insights on store layout and range presentation, translating this knowledge into relevant store solutions that support a convenient shopping experience and reflect local life at home.
• Stay informed about home furnishing, retailing, and market trends to develop creative directions that inspire visitors with strong visual impressions.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in visual merchandising or a related field is required for this position.

Work Environment
