ASU & Utilities Field Operator

About the Role

NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) is seeking an ASU & Utilities Field Operator to join its Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. This full-time position is based in Neom, Tabuk, and reports directly to the ASU & Utilities Plant Manager. The role involves managing the daily field production processes for the Air Separation Unit (ASU) and various utility systems, ensuring operations align with company safety policies and site-specific procedures to achieve reliability, efficiency, and productivity goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with all EH&S standards to achieve a goal of zero lost time injuries.
• Operate the Air Separation Unit, Cooling Water system, Demin Water plant, Instrument Air plant, water treatment, and N2 pipeline.
• Perform daily and monthly routines in accordance with operation and maintenance manuals, procedures, safety policies, and site-specific requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with the O&M team, providing field support.
• Participate actively in NGHC safety programs, promoting and enforcing safety rules and good housekeeping methods.
• Understand the detailed Emergency Response Plan and take necessary steps to protect personnel and ensure safe operation or plant shutdown during emergencies.
• Take daily process samples and apply the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) process in the field.
• Maintain overall housekeeping in the plants.
• Work rotating shifts and be available on call during specified periods.
• Assist in updating operating documents and contribute to maintaining site management systems such as MOC, BPs, SWIMs, and JSAs.
• Provide shutdown support by leading operation activities in the field and offer training to new field operators.

Principal Duties

• Responsible for the safe and reliable field operation of the ASU & Utilities plants, adhering to NGHC standards.
• Monitor compliance with EH&S standards for all daily activities performed at the plants.
• Support the updating of operating procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in field operations.
• Ability to meet training requirements and successfully pass scheduled validation reviews.
