We are welcoming applications for the role of Chief Baker. This position is crucial as it requires overseeing all baking operations within the pastry kitchen, ensuring the creation of high-quality baked goods that meet our luxury standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Baking Operations: Lead the preparation, baking, and finishing of a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate the baking team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Recipe Development: Develop and refine recipes incorporating seasonal ingredients.
• Quality Control: Monitor the quality and presentation of all baked goods.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Menu Planning: Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef on seasonal and special menu items.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

• Advanced knowledge of baking techniques.
• Proven leadership skills in high-pressure environments.

Qualifications:

• Culinary degree with a focus on baking preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a professional baking environment, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
