We are welcoming applications for the role of
Chief Baker. This position is crucial as it requires overseeing all baking operations within the pastry kitchen, ensuring the creation of high-quality baked goods that meet our luxury standards.
Main Responsibilities:- Baking Operations: Lead the preparation, baking, and finishing of a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate the baking team to ensure efficient workflow.
- Recipe Development: Develop and refine recipes incorporating seasonal ingredients.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality and presentation of all baked goods.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Menu Planning: Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef on seasonal and special menu items.
Skills/Knowledge Required:- Advanced knowledge of baking techniques.
