The Role
Red Sea Global is seeking a Director of Shared Services for Botanica. This full-time role, based in Tabuk (Umluj, Tabuk), requires over 10 years of experience. The Director will lead all enabling functions for Botanica Red Sea, including Finance & Accounting, Human Resources & Government Relations, Procurement, Administration, and HSSE & Compliance. The role also involves coordinating IT and systems with the RSG Group to ensure efficient and compliant operations across all business units. The Director is accountable for accurate financial reporting by business unit, a controlled cost base, precise payroll, compliant hiring and retention of a large in-house workforce, and reliable procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial records, month-end close, management accounts, and contract-level P&L in line with accounting standards and RSG Group Finance.
- Oversee billing, receivables, payables, cash flow forecasting, and banking, ensuring VAT and e-invoicing compliance (ZATCA).
- Produce P&L by business unit and revenue stream, supporting the PMO on budgeting, cost control, and financial modelling.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of findings.
- Lead workforce planning and recruitment for all business units, including the in-house landscape maintenance workforce.
- Manage reward, retention, and engagement programmes, focusing on critical and hard-to-fill roles.
- Run payroll, GOSI, Qiwa, and Muqeem processes, work permits, residency renewals, and Saudization (Nitaqat) compliance.
- Manage accommodation and welfare standards, training and competency records, and HR policies in coordination with Group HR (SuccessFactors).
- Set sourcing strategy and manage the procurement lifecycle through the Senior Manager – Procurement, including needs assessment, RFQs, evaluation, purchase orders, and supplier performance.
- Manage supplier contracts for plants, imports, inputs, equipment, and services in line with procurement policy.
- Manage specialist service suppliers under procurement policy, noting that core landscape maintenance is delivered in-house.
- Support stores control, inventory valuation, and asset records with Production and Finance.
- Manage office services, document control, records retention, and internal communication systems.
- Maintain policies, procedures, and the Delegation of Authority register.
- Coordinate ERP, HRIS, inventory, and fleet systems with RSG Group IT, ensuring accurate and up-to-date recording of staff, contracts, and assets.
- Ensure data integrity and access controls for financial and personnel data.
- Lead the Shared Services department (17 FTE), sized to support the full nursery and landscape maintenance workforce.

- Follow and enforce all relevant Botanica and RSG Group policies, delegation of authority (DoA), processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
- Apply and champion the safety, quality, and environmental management system (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and the compliance management system (ISO 37301).
- Identify and lead opportunities to improve the department's systems, processes, and practices against international best practice, focusing on cost reduction, productivity improvement, and client value.
Job Context
Shared Services supports a business with multiple revenue streams and a large in-house field workforce. The role requires managing high volumes of hiring, payroll, residency, permit processes, accommodation, and procurement without error, as mistakes directly affect employee pay and legal status. The Director must also provide leadership with an accurate cost picture by business unit to inform pricing and investment decisions.
