The Junior HR Business Partner will provide support and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters while implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR best practices and laws, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Support: Act as the primary point of contact for managers and employees regarding all HR-related inquiries and matters. Provide guidance on recruitment, employee relations, and various HR processes.
- Strategy Implementation: Conduct regular check-ins with managers and employees to foster a positive work environment and address concerns.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR data to ensure compliance and accessibility.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to HR laws and regulations, staying updated on relevant legislation.
- Training and Development: Participate in delivery of HR training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Recruitment Assistance: Assist with the recruitment and interview process, tracking candidate statuses and following up with communications at the end of the process.
- Collaboration: Work with the Corporate HR team to continuously improve HR processes and procedures.
- Administrative Oversight: Manage timesheet submissions and oversee the biometric attendance system. Submit online investigation requests, prepare incident reports. Process terminations by obtaining resignation letters and conducting exit interviews.
- Administrative Support: Ensure the Human Resources Department's administrative needs are met efficiently, including document preparation, answering calls, maintaining noticeboards, and managing mail distribution. Arrange accommodations and prepare health cards for employees, including issuing and renewing Iqamas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in a similar HR role.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
- Employee Engagement and Retention: Contributing to a positive and productive work environment by proactively addressing employee concerns and implementing initiatives to enhance morale and satisfaction. Identifying potential causes of employee turnover and recommending solutions to improve retention rates.
- HR Operations and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations by implementing policies, procedures, and conducting audits. Supporting the efficient administration of HR processes, including payroll, benefits, recruitment, performance management, and employee records management. Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes to enhance overall effectiveness.
- Talent Acquisition and Development: Assisting in the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and providing administrative support throughout the hiring process.
- Employee Relations and Communication: Providing timely support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, acting as a point of contact for inquiries and issue resolution. Fostering a positive workplace culture by addressing conflicts and promoting open communication. Maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information in compliance with data privacy regulations.
