NEOM Green Hydrogen Company Limited (NGHC) is a joint venture between Air Products, ACWA Power, and NEOM. The company is developing the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project in the autonomous NEOM region, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This project involves constructing the world’s largest plant for green hydrogen production, aiming to produce up to 600 tonnes of carbon-free hydrogen daily through approximately 4GW of solar and wind energy integration. The plant will produce green ammonia for export and is scheduled to be operational in 2026.

The Role of Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor

The Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor will be a key member of the maintenance team at the GHE site in Neom, Tabuk. This full-time position is responsible for the instrumentation maintenance across various plants, including Hydrogen, Ammonia, ASU, Utilities, and Jetty. The supervisor will build strong relationships with plant operating staff, technical support teams, and contractors, reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager of GH2.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead an instrumentation maintenance team of 10-20 technicians and planners.
• Participate in creating and reviewing preventive maintenance plans.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance performance metrics, including PM compliance, budget adherence, and safety program participation.
• Prioritize, schedule, and execute daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance activities in collaboration with maintenance and operations teams.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
• Coach and develop Instrument technicians.
• Provide support for after-hours and weekend calls.
• Collaborate with the materials management department on spare parts information and inventory management.
• Elaborate technical specifications for contractor bidding processes.
• Support GHE site Turnarounds preparation.
• Actively participate in NGHC safety programs, promoting and enforcing safety rules and good housekeeping.
• Ensure application and compliance with training, procedures, standards, specifications, KSA codes, and statutory requirements.
• Continuously evaluate maintenance methodologies and programs to enhance equipment integrity and reliability.
• Promote resource sharing across NGHC Operations.
• Respond rapidly to and correct regular and unplanned maintenance issues to prevent business loss.
• Support the preparation of maintenance budgets for production plants.
• Diagnose problems and implement solutions.
• Actively participate in the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases of the plants.
• Create maintenance procedures as needed.
• Establish clear objectives for direct reports, communicate objectives, and provide feedback through annual performance reviews.
• Manage contractors according to AP procedures.
• Lead the implementation of changes through the MOC process.
• Approve and control technician overtime.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance.

People Management

This role involves managing 10-20 direct reports and up to 50 contractors during turnarounds.

This is a full-time position based in Neom, Tabuk.
