About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead the nursing team during assigned shifts in Makkah, specifically in Taif and Makkah cities. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on ensuring high standards of nursing and personal care for clinic patients, tailored to individual needs and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for providing comprehensive medical and nursing care, offering advice and emotional support to patients and their families, and managing administrative tasks. This includes ensuring adherence to infection control and hygiene guidelines, as well as maintaining optimal stock levels and readiness of medical equipment and consumables.

Core Accountabilities

  • Disinfect clinical surfaces and equipment before daily operations and after each patient.
  • Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms.
  • Take and document patient medical histories and vital signs.
  • Screen patients for risks such as falls, nutritional deficiencies, and functional impairments.
  • Triage patients in the emergency room to categorize their emergency status.
  • Perform minor wound dressings and monitor patients under observation.
  • Prepare and administer intramuscular and intravenous medications under aseptic conditions.
  • Escort patients in ambulances and ensure patient dignity during examinations and procedures.
  • Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures.
  • Adhere strictly to infection control guidelines for patient management and handling body fluids.
  • Withdraw blood from patients for laboratory investigations in the emergency room and perform point-of-care tests.
  • Transport used instruments to dirty utility rooms.
  • Monitor consumable material stocks to ensure uninterrupted supply and maintain an inventory of medical equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Orient newly recruited nurses to the organization.
  • Ensure the daily availability of the required nursing workforce.
  • Collaborate with the medical director to ensure quality patient care.
  • Supervise the work of registered nurses and conduct annual appraisals for nurses.
  • Serve as a member of the community advisory committee.

Work Environment

This role is primarily indoors (100%). The work schedule consists of 6 working days per week, with 1 day off. Working hours are 8 net hours per day, based on a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
