About Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, a member of the Accor network, operates within a global group comprising over 45 brands, 5,500 hotels, and 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations. We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team in Ţurayf, Northern Frontier, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on driving revenue and fostering business partnerships.

Role Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and execution of strategic sales plans across diverse market segments. These segments include Corporate, Government, Leisure, Travel Trade, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions), and Social Events. The role focuses on maximizing hotel occupancy, meeting room utilization, and food & beverage revenues, while also building long-term business partnerships and upholding Mövenpick and Accor brand standards. This position involves actively identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and contributing to the achievement of annual revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Prospect and secure new business opportunities across all market segments.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with corporate accounts, government entities, travel agencies, and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct daily sales calls, client meetings, and outside sales activities.
  • Organize and participate in site inspections and hotel presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and business agreements in line with hotel policies.
  • Promote guest rooms, meeting facilities, restaurants, catering services, and special promotions.
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Develop account plans for major clients and ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, proposals, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management and Reservations teams to maximize yield and profitability.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and business reports.
  • Work closely with Food & Beverage and Events teams to generate banquet and catering business.
  • Promote weddings, conferences, social events, and outside catering opportunities.
  • Maintain and update client information within the CRM system, ensuring all sales activities are documented.
  • Respond promptly to client requests, resolve issues professionally, and maintain excellent customer service standards.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports, monitoring performance against targets and KPIs.
  • Participate in budget preparation, annual business planning, and departmental meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with Accor policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and achieve revenue targets.
  • Strong negotiation, client relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and preparing sales reports.

Working Environment and Values

It involves frequent local travel for client meetings and sales visits, as well as participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
