About the Role

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to join the finance team at Fairmont The Red Sea in Umluj and Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 0-1 years of experience and focuses on managing accounts receivable operations to ensure accurate and timely payment collection while maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable cycle, including invoice generation, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and implement collection strategies to reduce overdue accounts.
  • Accurately and promptly apply cash receipts to customer accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed accounts receivable reports and aging schedules for management review.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer inquiries efficiently.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure accurate customer account information and billing.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian financial regulations and company accounting policies.
  • Utilize accounting software and ERP systems for transaction recording and financial report generation.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in accounts receivable management, collections, or related accounting functions (0-1 years).
  • Strong proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of invoicing, billing processes, and cash application procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies with accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the hospitality or hotel industry.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian tax regulations and financial compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of credit management and customer account management best practices.

Additional Context

Understanding of ultra-luxury guest expectations and brand alignment is beneficial. Experience in project coordination, scheduling, and document control during pre-opening stages is also noted. A proactive, anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability is valued. Impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with luxury standards are expected.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Umluj and Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, within the hospitality sector.
