About the Role
Fairmont The Red Sea, part of Accor, is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to join its finance team in Umluj. This full-time position requires meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage all facets of accounts receivable operations. The role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely payment collections while fostering positive customer relationships. The ideal candidate will possess robust analytical capabilities, a commitment to precision, and the ability to perform effectively within the dynamic hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete accounts receivable cycle, including invoice generation, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and implement collection strategies to reduce overdue accounts.
- Accurately and promptly apply cash receipts to customer accounts.
- Prepare and maintain detailed accounts receivable reports and aging schedules for management review.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer inquiries efficiently and professionally.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure accurate customer account information and billing.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian financial regulations and company accounting policies.
- Utilize accounting software and ERP systems for transaction recording and financial report generation.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management, collections, or related accounting functions.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comprehensive knowledge of invoicing, billing processes, and cash application procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian tax regulations and financial compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of credit management and customer account management best practices.
